You need PROPER drums for dubstep, the drums sound weird. I liked the drop, it is wobbly and glitchy, like a proper dubstep drop. I would have liked it better if you added female glitchy vocals, but not for this track lol. I liked the dance thing before and after the drops. I also liked that you used the countdown before the drop, as it gains more hype for the drop. One thing i would suggest is also adding another instrument and running it through a bit crusher. Overall, great track, i don't normally give 4 stars but this song is pretty good.

Why didn't you like my pringles can as snare :'(

This song is pretty cool, but there are a few things that need to be improved.. At the 0:57, i can hear some distortion. Remove it, or if it was intended, disregard that part. Next, the 2nd minute. Nothing to complain here, i felt like dancing to the song. At 0:54-1:10 it sounded a bit like big room. I liked the buildup towards the breakdown at 2:00. I liked your drums, the snare was very hard hitting, which i enjoy. At 02:18-02:26 it sounded a bit happy which didn't fit with the sorrow aspect. Overall great song, i felt like dancing to it, and i feel this needs 4 stars.

Very nice review. Thanks for taking the time to write. I really appreciate. The only thing is that I don't know what you mean by that "sounded bit like big room". Is Big Room some kind of band? Or does the sound was just weird? :)

This track sounds very epic, and I like the orchestral elements in this song. However there are things to improve. First off, the snares at the drum n bass breakdown. They don't hit very hard, and there is barely any noise tail. Try using HARD hitting snares with a moderate noise tail. Second off, you might want to add a chord, or if there is one, try making it be heard. Orchestral tracks normally have a choir that makes it epic. I liked how you mixed an electronic lead into the breakdown, as i really like orchestral music blended in with electronic music. End of review.

Demonic-Overmind responds:

umm, that snare stuff, I don't actually know how liquid DnB has snares but I just followed what my mind said in this track. I know that orchestral tracks have mostly female choirs but tbh, I forgot to add it xD

Thanks for the review.

Nice mastering, and really nice drums. However, this is NOT chipstep. Chipstep is 8 bit dubstep, not drum 'n' bass with piano. The only drop I hear is the drum 'n' bass breakdown, and there is no 8 bit sounds. Once again, nice mastering, nice drums, and i like that angel choir.

death2go responds:

Well that's unusual, i don't recall putting the genre down idk might of been tired, ill see what i can do to fix that, also thanks man for the review!

i know this is jungle themed music, and I like the flutes and the mastering, but "Jungle" is a genre. However, i suggest you try it out someday. :)

DreyLand responds:

Hi,
I'm glad you like it :)
I take your advice in consideration, thanks!

Nice drums! And this is very calming after the minute. The first part gives me a sense of dubstep(But there is no drop) and the second part calms me down. The 8 bit gives me a sense of retro which is a favorite of mine. Although it would be made better if you added nature sounds and stuff that makes it ambient.... but it's for a cancelled video game project, so that would apply to very very deep ambient tracks. Overall, nice job! P.S: I like the reverb.

ABitApe responds:

Thanks for the review Ultra!

About nature sounds, there are actually nature sounds between 01:00 to 01:30. Wind and birds. But maybe I should've made them a bit louder then? Even rain comes in at 01:30. Though it's very processed.

And haha! Everyone comments on the reverb! It's the RC48 from Native instruments with the "Atmo Sphere"-preset. A large reverb. RC48 is freakin' nice overall so check it out :)

Cheers!

Nice use of kick, and piano. I also like the mastering. However there are a few things to work on. I can barely hear the drums, and even if i did hear the drums, the snare's impact was weak, or was it a clap? I can't really tell. But I liked your use of lowering an instrument's volume before the song goes into full gear.

5TanLey responds:

thanks for the review,

yep drums sound kinda drowned when I listen to it again

Nice job! I liked that you used a grand piano on an electronic song, and a part of this song gives me 80s-90s song vibes.

MysteriousPresence responds:
